Myths and Misconceptions about Voting
MYTH #3 - Mail-In votes are not counted or in this election you must go to a precinct to vote.
Any North Carolina registered voter may request, receive and vote a mail-in absentee ballot in most elections. No special circumstance or reason is needed to vote by mail in North Carolina. These Votes are counted in the same way as in-person votes. Source:https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting/vote-mail
