African American women face both disproportionate exposure to breast cancer and the highest risk of serious health impacts from the disease. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., is committed to provide education and support of early detection of breast, prostate, ovarian, colon and other cancers as well as research for prevention of the cancers.
